Scripture for Power of the Blood

Genesis 3:21 – Also for Adam and his wife, the LORD God made tunics of skin and clothed them

Genesis 12:12-13: “On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn of both people and animals, and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the Lord. The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt.

Romans 5:12 – Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned–

The Alpha and Omega, The First and the Last

These two Hebrew letters are from right to left Aleph Tav. but these two letters do not actually form a word – rather, they express an understanding of the word “God.”

The aleph is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet, and the tav is the last letter of the alphabet. It is in the placement of these two very significant letters at strategic locations within many verses of Hebrew scripture that express the understanding of a total completeness.

Aleph means Ox, Bull, Gentle, The Leader, The First

Tav means a mark, a cross, sign of covenant, to seal, The Last

God specifically calls Himself the Alpha and Omega, in Greek.  But in Hebrew, it’s the Aleph Tav.

Revelation 1:8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.“

Revelation 22:13 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.“

Revelation 21:6-7  Then He said to me, “It is done I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost. “He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son.

Revelation 1:17-18  When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man And He placed His right hand on me, saying, “Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last, and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.

Hebrews 10:19-23, …boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus…our hearts sprinkled by and with the blood from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water Holy Spirit

Romans 3:25  – God presented Him Jesus as an atoning sacrifice through faith in His Jesus blood, in order to demonstrate His God righteousness, because in His God forbearance He God had passed over the sins committed beforehand

Justification – to provide or be a good reason for (something); to prove or show (something) to be just, right, or reasonable. (Merriam-Webster Dictionary)

Romans 5:9 – Therefore, since we have now been justified by His blood, how much more shall we be saved from wrath through Him!

Romans 3:24 – being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus

Ephesians 1:4 – just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love

Esther 4:11 – “All the king’s servants and the people of the king’s provinces know that for any man or woman who comes to the king to the inner court who is not summoned, he has but one law, that he be put to death, unless the king holds out to him the golden scepter so that he may

1 Corinthians 6:11…But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Redemption and Forgiveness – the action of saving or being saved from sin, or evil; the action of regaining or gaining possession of something in exchange for payment, or clearing a debt.

 

Ephesians 1:7 – In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

 

Matthew 26:28 – because this is my blood of the new covenant that is being poured out for many people for the forgiveness of sins

 

1 Peter 1:18-19 – knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things, like silver or gold, from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ

 

Ephesians 1:13b-14 – having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.

Sanctification – set apart as or declare holy; consecrate; free from sin; purify; cleanse; bless; make holy

Hebrews 13:12 – And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood.

1 John 1:7 – if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin

Revelation 1:5 – and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.  To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood,

It is the application of the powerful, sacrificial blood of Christ that very literally sets us free.

Cleanses from an evil conscience –  conscience is an inner feeling or voice acting as a guide to the rightness or wrongness of one’s behavior; that part of the human psyche that induces mental anguish and feelings of guilt when we violate it

Hebrews 9:14 – How much more then will the blood of Christ who, through the eternal Spirit, offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!

Hebrews 10:22 – let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

Romans 5:8 – God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Being brought into covenant of promise – Ephesians 2:13 – But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ

SpeaksHebrews 12:24 – to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel

Genesis 4:8-11 – Now Cain said to his brother Abel, “Let’s go out to the field.” While they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him.  9Then the Lord said to Cain, “Where is your brother Abel?”  “I don’t know,” he replied. “Am I my brother’s keeper?”  10The Lord said, “What have you done? Listen! Your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground.

Leviticus 17:11 – ‘For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood by reason of the life that makes atonement.’

Deuteronomy 12:23 – Only be sure not to eat the blood, for the blood is the life, and you shall not eat the life with the flesh

Romans 8:34 states, who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.

Psalm 91:4 – He will cover you with his feathers.  He will shelter you with his wings.  His faithful promises are your armor and protection.  NLT

Colossians 3:3 – For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

Revelation 12:11 – They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and loved no their life unto death.”
