Bayshore Christian Fellowship has partnered with Hope Behavior Services to provide a sensory room with trained/certified staff that will be available to assist children with special needs during times of worship. Allowing for parents, family members, and care givers to worship free from distraction or concern, as the sensory room will provide each child with a safe, stimulating environment designed to develop and enrich sensory processing.
The sensory room can be used for children/youth with special needs as a place where they can receive a break from the stimulation of the Church service (if needed). The environment will consist of equipment that will help those with special needs regulate their sensory system and motor system.
